The Welcome Letter (below) provides details on obtaining an access keyfob, club sessions, coaching and lots of other useful information.

CODE OF CONDUCT

TO BE OBSERVED BY MEMBERS AND USERS OF GLAN ABER FACILITIES

All persons playing tennis at Glan Aber Tennis Club are asked to show consideration to other players by adhering to the following ….

1.      DRESS / FOOTWEAR

Ø Players must be appropriately dressed

Ø Tennis shoes/ trainers must be worn on court

Ø Football boots or shoes with any sort of spikes are not permitted

Ø Normal footwear with heels is not permitted

2.      BEHAVIOUR

         Players to refrain from unacceptable behaviour, i.e.

Ø Throwing of rackets or other items

Ø Use of offensive language

Ø Spitting

Ø Chewing gum is prohibited on court

Ø Smoking, including e-cigarettes is prohibited

Ø Games other than tennis are forbidden

Ø No bicycles are permitted on court

3.       USE OF COURTS

Ø Juniors may play at all times except for adult club sessions

Ø The committee recommends that juniors (up to Year 6) are accompanied by a responsible adult unless attending a supervised session

Ø League matches to be played at Glan Aber Tennis Club will have priority

Ø Courts should be booked through the Clubspark booking system

4.      DOGS

Ø Prohibited on court or in clubhouse

Ø Must be kept on a leash whilst on premises (CWaC directive)
